Whiskers & Wags Limited takes every measure to make your pet's stay as enjoyable as possible, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort. However, all pets are accepted entirely at the owner's risk, as some factors are beyond our control. We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any pet from our care if we identify risks or concerns.

Pet Behaviour
Please inform us of any behavioral issues or concerns regarding your pet. Any damage or costs resulting from undisclosed issues will be charged to the owner. We reserve the right to cancel any booking or decline services if a pet's behavior poses a risk to our staff, other pets, or themselves. Aggressive behavior is not tolerated.

Pet Health
At Whiskers & Wags, we prioritize the health and welfare of all pets in our care. Should your pet appear unwell, we will take immediate action, including consulting with our local vet or, if necessary, your pet's regular vet. Any veterinary costs incurred due to illness, injury, or unexpected events will be the owner's responsibility. Please inform us of any medical conditions or treatments your pet is receiving. All medications must be clearly labeled and detailed in writing. Flea and worm treatments must be up to date upon arrival, and any further treatments during the stay will be billed accordingly.

Pet Vaccinations
Only pets with up-to-date vaccinations will be accepted. Documentation must be presented prior to or upon arrival.

Dogs: Must be vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, and Kennel Cough, with boosters administered within the last twelve months.
Cats: Must be vaccinated against Feline Leukemia, Infectious Enteritis, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, and Feline Calicivirus, with boosters within the last twelve months. Flea and worm treatments should be done within 28 days of arrival.


Bedding & Owner-Supplied Food
We provide appropriate bedding for all pets. Should your pet prefer its own bedding, it must be clean, labeled, and left at your own risk. Owner-supplied raw food or other special dietary items may incur additional handling fees, particularly during peak seasons.

Medication
All medication must be provided in clearly marked containers, and administration instructions must be sent via email before your pet's arrival. While we take great care with prescription medications, Whiskers & Wags will not be held liable for any loss. Additional fees may apply for administering medication during peak seasons.

Drop-off & Collection Times
Our operating hours and peak season dates are available on our website. We are closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, January 2nd, and Easter Sunday. Pets must be dropped off at least an hour before closing to allow adequate time for settling in.

If someone else will be collecting your pet, please notify us in advance. The representative must present ID and settle any remaining balance before your pet is released. We take all possible care when transporting pets but cannot accept liability for loss or injury.

Payment
Full payment is required before your pet is released. We accept cash and EFTPOS. Credit card and Paywave transactions may incur surcharges. Discounts, when applicable, are offered at the time of booking and are not available alongside other offers. Public holiday surcharges may apply.

Cancellation Policy
Deposits for bookings over the Christmas/New Year period are non-refundable.

Abandonment
Pets left at Whiskers & Wags for more than 14 days beyond the agreed departure date, without any communication from the owner or representative, will be considered abandoned and may be transferred to the appropriate authorities. Owners remain responsible for any outstanding fees and legal costs incurred.


Photography
We may take photographs of pets in our care for promotional use or to provide updates. These images may be used without payment or royalties on our website, social media, or in other marketing materials.

Vehicles & Property
Please exercise caution while on our premises, particularly when operating vehicles. We are not responsible for any loss, harm, or damage that may occur while on our property.
